Awards
The North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF) has three important annual awards that help support its mission to save lives and prevent blood clots through education and prevention.
1) NATF Traveling Fellowship Award Program is an annual scientific exchange opportunity for those within the healthcare industry (physicians, scientists, pharmacists, nurses, physician’s assistants). Fellows get to explore cross-disciplinary diagnosis, treatment, education, and research related to thrombosis. Additionally, NATF will provide an award equivalent to $7,500 for lodging and travel for one or more Fellows selected to visit a North American medical, research, or education center of his or her choice for up to 45 days.
2) DVT Free Flight Award provides recognition to airlines that have made a commitment to reducing the risk of developing a DVT/PE for travelers by raising awareness via creative and accurate information on the subject of DVT/PE.
3) DVTeam Care Hospital Award™ in coordination with Eisai, Inc: the North American Thrombosis forum helped develop the DVTeamCare ™ Hospital Award which provides recognition to hospitals that have made a significant commitment to preventing DVT and its fatal complications.
