Galson, MD, MPH, Acting Surgeon General of the United States, to Brigham and Women’s Hospital for a discussion of the recently released Call to Action to Prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism. The 2-hour meeting included state-of-the-art presentations on prophylaxis measures and critical developments in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of thrombotic disorders.
